Job Description
A leading building services provider is looking for an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to join their established team on a prestigious contract supporting commercial office spaces across key regional locations.
The Role:
- Perform general electrical maintenance including PPMs, reactive repairs, and fault finding
- Conduct testing and inspection of electrical systems and equipment
- Carry out basic building services tasks such as HVAC support, lighting repairs, and emergency lighting testing
- Assist with basic plumbing tasks like tap temps, flushing, and minor fabric repairs
- Covering 5-6 sites across the contract
- Support the smooth running of site services including door access systems and fire alarm testing
- Participation in a 1-in-5 call-out rota (£100 standby, rarely called out)
Package Includes:
- Salary: £42,500 (up to £45,000 for the right person)
- Company van, fuel card, PDA and phone
- Paid travel time after the first 30 minutes each way (at overtime rate)
- Overtime available
- 25 Days annual leave + Bank Holidays
Requirements:
- Electrically qualified (City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 or equivalent)
- Electrically biased with good general maintenance skills
- Comfortable with basic plumbing and fabric tasks
- Full UK driving licence
- SC Clearance or willing and eligible to undergo vetting
