Job Description
Berry Recruitment is working with a well-established manufacturer based in Thirsk to recruit a Production Operative for an ongoing temporary role. This position supports continued high demand and offers consistent, full-time hours with no set end date.
Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
Friday: 07:30 – 12:50
No weekend work required
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour, paid weekly via PAYE
It’s ideal for someone with previous experience in manufacturing or production and who’s confident using hand tools. There is potential for long-term opportunities depending on performance and business needs.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Assembling drinks dispensers and coolers from components using hand tools
Meeting daily and weekly production targets, working both independently and in a team
Maintaining quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
Supporting a safe, tidy, and efficient work environment
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing role is preferred
Comfortable using hand tools such as screwdrivers, drills, and wrenches
Able to follow instructions and work to deadlines
A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
