Handle Recruitment is seeking an immediately available Paid Media Specialist to join a global media company for a short-term contract. This is a hands-on performance marketing role to cover for a busy period, ideal for someone who can quickly step in, assess existing activity, and drive measurable improvements across paid channels including Google Ads and Meta.
*Immediate start for two months, Central London office based, pay up to £210 day rate PAYE*
Key responsibilities include:
- Auditing and optimising live Google Ads and Meta campaigns
- Media planning, budget allocation, and audience targeting
- Managing and scaling campaigns to improve CPA, CTR, conversion rates, and overall efficiency
- Running A/B tests across creatives, audiences, and landing pages
- Using analytics and performance data to inform decisions and provide actionable insights
- Working closely with cross-functional teams and engaging confidently with senior stakeholders
- Supporting short-term business goals and delivering results within a tight timeframe
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven expertise in paid media, with strong hands-on experience across Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
- Experience in media planning, campaign execution, and ongoing optimisation
- Strong commercial and performance marketing mindset, with deep understanding of KPIs such as CPA, CTR, conversion rate, and GM
- Confident using data and analytics tools to drive optimisation decisions
- A structured test-and-learn approach to continuous improvement
- Ability to prioritise effectively and deliver results in a short-term contract role
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior internal teams
