Job Description
Our client is currently seeking a CAD Technician to join their CAD department based in Trentham. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a precise and customer-focused environment.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience using AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD software, along with the ability to work accurately and efficiently while managing multiple projects and meeting strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Liaising with customers to confirm and agree design specifications.
Preparing and revising CAD layout drawings.
Using internal data entry systems to prepare production documentation.
Planning and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Providing technical support to customers and colleagues.
Responding to customer queries while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Skills & Attributes
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience or knowledge of AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD software (preferred).
The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
A methodical and structured approach to tasks.
A professional telephone manner.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear and grammatically correct correspondence.
A positive attitude and strong problem-solving abilities.
