Job Description
We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established large format print and signage company looking for an experienced Print Manager / Lead Printer to take charge of their production operation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a signage or large format background who enjoys a mix of hands-on production and leading a team to deliver exceptional work.
You’ll play a key role in running day-to-day print production, managing workflow, and ensuring high standards across all jobs produced for a range of well-known brands and prestigious clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Running the day-to-day large format print production
- Leading and supporting the production team, ensuring work is organised and completed efficiently
- Producing signage, vehicle graphics, wraps and display graphics
- Printing, laminating, trimming and finishing work to a high standard
- Planning workloads and managing production schedules and priorities
- Checking artwork is print-ready before production begins
- Overseeing quality control and final checks on completed work
- Producing high-quality work for well-known brands and prestigious clients
- Managing stock levels of materials including vinyl, laminate, boards and inks
- Monitoring equipment performance and coordinating printer or machinery maintenance when required
- Identifying opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency and production processes
- Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient production environment
Skills / Experience Required:
- Strong experience in large format printing or signage production
- Confident using large format printers, laminators and cutting/plotting equipment
- Experience leading or supporting a production team
- Excellent attention to detail (colour accuracy, alignment and finish)
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs and deadlines
- A proactive, reliable and hands-on approach
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Hours: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience £28-35k + vehicle + benefits
