Job Description
We are currently working with a well-established and growing manufacturing business looking to add an Electrical & Controls Engineer to their site team.
This is a hands-on role combining electrical maintenance, installation work, and support across PLC/automation systems. You’ll be involved in fault-finding, continuous improvement, and project work, helping to maintain and enhance production performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding on production equipment
- Support PLC diagnostics and minor modifications
- Assist with machinery upgrades, improvements, and project work
- Maintain electrical systems and ensure compliance with regulations
- Work closely with production and external contractors
Requirements
- Strong electrical background within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery
- Ability to fault-find across electrical and control systems
- Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition or equivalent)
