Job Description

Element Recruitment have partnered with a mission-led organisation within the charity sector who are looking to add a New Business Manager to the team on a fixed-term basis for 12 months with the potential to go permanent.

The New Business Manager will be responsible for leading on securing high-value partnerships with corporate organisations to generate vital income. This is a standalone role, and you’ll have the freedom to design and develop new business development strategies to build a pipeline of opportunities. Managing and developing relationships with a portfolio of individual and organisational contacts, including prospective and existing supporters.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the charity / non-profit / mission led sector and who is skilled in building strong and positive relationships that generate revenue.

 

Skills needed

  • Previous experience as a Business Development Manager with proven ability to generate high-value revenue.
  • Experience working within the charity or a mission led business.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders within large corporations.
  • Previous experience working in a results-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel to meet with businesses to secure partnerships, including overnight stays.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
